November CPI experts expect the highest annual increase may not exceed 5%

Some experts expect significant gains in food prices, in November China's consumer price index (CPI) increase may exceed 4.4% last month, reaching the peak year, but more than 5% is unlikely.

The Commerce Department said edible agricultural products (20.62, -0.28, -1.34%) price monitoring data show that since November, a major consumer prices that showed a narrowing trend, in which the average wholesale price of 18 kinds of vegetables has dropped for two consecutive weeks. CICC's macro-economic weekly that the first three weeks of November food prices rise weekly chain reduced, expected CPI rose 4.8% in the month, or 0.4 percent expansion the previous month. Producer price index (PPI) rose 4.6%, 0.4 percentage point drop the previous month, or narrowing of the reasons one hikes, and second, the recent modest gains in international commodity.
